500 gms onions
1 tbsp salt
500 ml oil for frying

Method

- Slice onions vertically and evenly. Make sure they are as thin as possible.
- Place them in a bowl and add salt.
- Massage the onions with salt for at least a minute.
- In a wok, heat oil.
- Post massage, take handful of onions and squeeze all the moisture.
- Fry them in oil on a low flame.
- Fry them till they are golden brown.
